Bouctouche, NB July 12

Oh what a stop!  Bouctouche has a sand dune eco centre/ preserve.  An incredible  1 km boardwalk over the grassland marsh and down onto the beach for your return walk.  The tide was out and there were many tide pools to wade in and explore.  Thousands upon thousands of tiny rocks and seashells litter the sand.  Some of the shells as big as my hand.  We did see some live crab, hermit crabs and minnows. We also saw several Lion's  Mane Jellyfish, but don't think they were alive. ??

It was so relaxing and enjoyable because we have never really done beach combing or tidal pool wading.  LOVED IT.  Sure made me miss the grandkids, because I know they would have loved it just as much!  It was sunny and cloudy but 28 degrees anyway.  Oh and very windy, 😆
