Salisbury, NB July 12

Yesterday we set up at Riverbend Wilderness campground, Salisbury  NB.  Booked 4 nights to park the trailer and then just use the truck to explore more of New Brunswick.   This camp is 4 years old, and I now have a much better  appreciation for the 20 plus years it takes to groom these areas.

The owner, Jim is a man with a vision and so so nice.  His to do list has thousands of entries and he smiles thru and shoulders on!!!  Our site is long and spacious  with lots of trees for privacy.  Power and beautiful water hook ups.  Because it's still a new camp we have all the wood you could  possibly  need for free! ( that is rare as we found out, most places charge crazy amounts for five pieces of fire wood).  It is definitely more rustic and although  there are flush toilets and showers, the cleanliness and bug population has me glad I have my own bathroom here in the trailer.

We made several stops today that I'll post separately again.  The first adventure was to Shediac to see the world's largest lobster 🦞

After leaving the Giant lobster, we drove a short distance and happened  upon an interesting antique shop built around an old ship.  The shop keeper was such a doll, and the pictures were fun!
