Nova Scotia!!! July 15th

 We are in fabulous Nova Scotia!  We stopped at the tourist info here and wow!  The gentleman that greeted us was amazing!  It was like having a personal tour guide and historian all to ourselves for 45 minutes!  He showed us so many things on  the map and gave informative advice, along with maps and pamphlets so numerous I'm not sure we can read them all!!!! It was like talking to an old friend and I am mad at myself  because I didn't ask his name! In my heart he is Mr. Charming.  😀 ❤ 

On to our first stops.....oh my gosh the famous singer ANNE MURRAY is from Springhill, NS.  I'm showing  my age now,  but still remember sitting in the back of my parents car, belting out "Snowbird" with Anne on the radio!  We stopped at her centre and enjoyed reminiscing.  There were too many gold, platinum records and various awards to photograph.  But here are a few....

After the fun flash back, we traveled to Upper Economy, NS.  Here was The Dutchman Cheese Farm.  Originally rustic and lots of Dutch imported goodies.  The gouda is Gooda and made on-site, as well as home smoked bacon 🥓.  We purchased both of those as well as imported Dutch cookies and licorice.  The view from the farm down to the ocean was so beautiful!!! And the sign with the hours of operation has a hilarious bottom line.
