We extended our stay here in Quesnel because we are too early for our next stop. We planed to camp in Barkerville, the famous gold mining town just an hour or so from here, but the campsite there doesn't open until 3pm Saturday. Oh well we will hang out here a few more days do some more walks about town and on the hiking trails near by. Tomorrow is an exciting laundromat day, argh! Today's pics are from a river front walk in town. Very nice, the river is high, only six inches below the trail in spots. Sweet little painted rocks here and there if you have a keen eye. Also school projects from a grade five class along the path. Also in this post is the world's largest gold pan. Once we get to Barkerville on Saturday we will have no cell or Wi-Fi service. Wow four days of real down time! Bye for now, hugs Barrie and Di 😊
